How it works
From the first call to daylight
Every case is its own road, but most run through the same five stretches. You’ll know which one you’re on, and what’s around the next bend.
- 01
Step 1: The first call
You tell me the date, the place and the charge. I tell you the deadlines, what I’d look at, and what I’d charge, in writing if you want it.
- 02
Step 2: The license deadline
If your license is at stake, the hearing request goes in first, often within days of the stop.
- 03
Step 3: Reading the evidence
Reports, test records and video. I go through them and then go through them with you, so you see what I see.
- 04
Step 4: Court dates
I tell you which ones you must attend and which I can handle alone. For many tickets, you may not need to come at all.
- 05
Step 5: The outcome, and after
Whatever the result, you leave with a written list of what you need to do next and when: classes, fees, license steps.
Fees
The fare, quoted before we leave
You’ll know what I charge before you pay anything.
After the first call, I send a written quote for each stage of the case: the license hearing, the court case, and a trial if it comes to that. Fines, court costs, classes and license fees are separate and paid to the state, and the quote lists them so nothing arrives as a surprise.
